Macbeth Act 1
In act one of this Shakespearean play, three witches come together to meet Macbeth. Banquo, the three witches, and King Duncan feels as if he would be a good fit for king. The three witches say "fair is foul and foul is fair". This quote is one of the themes for this play. When Macbeth and the witches finally meet up, Macbeth states that he no longer wants to kill Duncan. Later on, Macbeth's wife, Lady Macbeth, persuades him to continue on with the killing of Duncan and explains her plan. Her plan included killing Duncan and blaming it on the guards. This is very wrong of Lady Macbeth because she knows her husband loves her and would do anything for her. She is using this to manipulate Macbeth.
